SPANISH GIN, GRAPEFRUIT & ELDERFLOWER TONIC
Gin and citrus are old friends. The botanical complexity of gin and the bright acid of grapefruit make a smashing couple. In Europe and particularly Spain, entire drinking establishments are devoted to creating "gintonics." Spanish gin tonics are simply premium gin mixed with premium tonics (no high fructose corn syrup), fresh fruit or herbs, and served over ice in an oversized glass. This simple summery cocktail, perfect for al fresco dining, subtlety infuses sweet tart grapefruit, fragrantly floral elderflower, and woodsy rosemary into St. George's Botanivore Gin. Boasting 19 different herbs and plants and a smooth, warm lingering finish, this gin is most definitely a keeper for a superior G&T. If visiting BARCELONA do visit OLD FASHIONED GIN TONIC & COCKTAIL BAR--the gin cocktail made with seville oranges is outstanding.
Nota bene: This cocktail is also wonderful when made with Uncle Val's Botanical Gin.
