1860 Victorian Copper Roasting Pan


A hard to find double handled Victorian roasting pan used in an estate kitchen. A perfect holiday vessel for crown roast or Thanksgiving turkey.

Re-tinned in England using the traditional method of pouring molten tin into the vessel into an even thick coating that is wiped creating a food safe surface (as opposed to modern electroplating which gives a much thinner coating).

Excellent Vintage Condition

Hand wash only. Do not use abrasive cleaning materials. Oven safe to 450 degrees F.  Place food in vessel before turning on the flame. To maintain copper brilliance, occasionally polish with Cape Cod Metal Polishing Cloths.
