Berners Tavern

Berner's Tavern London Review by Weston Table

An Old World floor to soaring 50 foot vaulted ceiling, gilt framed-walled, glamorous restaurant with a contemporary, if quirky, British menu designed by the globe- trotting Michelin starred chef, Jason Atherton. This majestic space vibes more like a French Impressionist Salon than an establishment for serving beer and sometimes food. A gorgeous English cheese trolley, slick service, a decadent and reasonably priced mac and cheese studded with ox cheek and crispy bone marrow, cocktails with names like ‘Aging Hipster’ and ‘Room with a View’, emerge as gastronomic gems. Berners Tavern dazzles London with a scene and be seen crowd that makes a night out dropping some serious sterling worth it.
