Experienced in illustration, fashion, art and design, Carola van Dyke's trademark whimsical style originated from having access to only small scraps of vintage fabrics collected over the years and continental fabrics.
An English artist with Dutch roots, van Dyke combines hand-cut pieces much the way a painter mixes color on a palette. Her unique and exhilaratingly vibrant collection includes pillows and textile taxidermy wall art made from a contrast of hand-cut, mismatched fabrics. Her process of using eclectic textiles produces one-of-a-kind pieces to be displayed as luxurious bespoke conversation art within a home.
